 Murphy often has used watercolor and pencil sketches to generate ideas for larger artworks. This small sketch became a 200 square foot mural five years later. Current projects include the production of huge murals and wall coverings for hotel lobbies and larger buildings. Most of these large artworks will be preceded by smaller, preliminary sketches like you see here.
